Strengthening Your Core After Baby: My Postnatal Yoga Guide
Christie @ Divine Child Yoga | MAY 1, 2025

One of the biggest questions I hear from new moms is: “How do I get my core strength back safely?” It’s such a valid question, and the answer is more than just crunches or planks. Your core is so much more than your abs — it’s a system of muscles including your pelvic floor, diaphragm, deep abdominals, and back muscles, all working together to support your body.
After having a baby, your core goes through a huge transformation, and thoughtful, mindful movement is the best way to restore strength and stability. That’s where postnatal yoga shines.
